Hemali Matharu

Hi I’m Hemali,

Neuroscience has always been an interest in mine so I’m excited to get more involved within the society. I feel i would be useful in searching for and coordinating with external organisations and individuals to create opportunities for those within the society to further develop and explore their interest through different avenues of experience.

Whether that be academically by finding research opportunities and shadowing experiences for students or get involved with, or more relaxed volunteering options like volunteering through the program at the royal hospital for Neuro-disabillity.

As a choreographer for this year’s fashion show I had the opportunity to get involved in other aspects involved with the show, including scouting for designers and building a rapport with companies to create interest and future opportunities for the show. This experience will be useful in my role as volunteer coordinator
