Radiology Society: Secretary

Hi everyone! My name is Adam, I'm a 2nd year medical student, and I'm excited to put myself forward to be your next Secretary.

My interest in radiology was sparked during my work experience on an interventional neuroradiology ward, where I witnessed first-hand the impact of radiology on patient care. This experience, coupled with shadowing numerous radiographers, has solidified my passion for this speciality. Now, I'm eager to give back to the society and share this passion with our community.

A secretary needs to be hard-working, organised and passionate. Becoming a prefect at school gave me experience in events planning and organising, working hard to ensure they were engaging and memorable.

Effective communication underpins everything a secretary does. My background in freelance graphic design for corporate clients has honed my communication skills, allowing me to tailor messages to different audiences while maintaining professionalism. These skills are essential for a secretary, and I firmly believe I can thrive in this role and deliver you the best experience possible.

As secretary I will:

  • Provide administerative support by:
    • Delivering clear and concise information
    • Coordinating society activities
  • Support committee by:
    • Assisting roles where necessary
    • Collaborating to advance society goals and initiatives
  • Improve society engagement by:
    • Publishing informative newsletters

I'm dedicated to serving our society, and with your support, I am confident we can achieve great things together.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
