Khushi Srivastava

Hi everyone, my name is Khushi and I would love to be your Secretary this year!

I have always found Radiology fascinating as it allows us to see the see the body in so many different ways. Completing my Clinical Engineering & Surgical Robotics horizon module has inspired me to explore the field further and I believe I have the right skills to undertake this role.

This past year, as Academic Officer, I have organised tutorial series for Immunology and Pharmacology society and I hope to use these organisation and communication skills for planning meetings and events. I also have been involved in securing funds for Teddy Bear Hospital committee and have taken part in event organisation for Medathon which has highlighted the importance of timely communication.

As part of the committee I aim to:

• Facilitate efficient communication to allow smooth running of meetings and events
• Develop resources including tutorials and question banks
• Organise talks for students to learn about various career pathways and subspecialities
• Collaborate with other societies for social and academic events to increase outreach

As your secretary, I will make sure to always bring my enthusiasm and attention to detail. I look forward to learning new skills and working with the team!
