Harishankar Shikkulal

Hello, my name is Harishankar Shikkulal, and I'm interested in running for the advisor role at Hindu society. This role excites me as it gives me a wide range of responsibilities to serve this beautiful society.

Firstly, as part of my previous role as Secretary in this society, not only have I excelled in producing relevant documentation for our events, but I have also collaborated with the high council team to make strategic decisions that would leverage the growth of the society, with over an excess of 100 additional members joining in the society. This makes me suitable for the role as it is crucial to manage a society successfully to bring it to even bigger heights. Secondly, I am also an accomplished leader with strong communication skills, with these skills being developed by taking lead roles in both academic and extracurricular (sports) teams.

If offered this role, my main priority is to foster a close-knit relationship between incoming committee members through effective strategic planning and performance evaluation, which would help achieve the long-term aspirations of this rapidly growing society. Addtionally, I would love to advise on both internal and external matters using my leadership experience, such as working with the sports teams to achieve the ultimate goal of this society: winning the annual sports tournament, and forming collaborative partnerships that would help amplify the rich cultural heritage we possess.
