Prachur Khandelwal
Hello, my name is Prachur, and as a second-year medic, I have had the pleasure of both teaching for and having been taught by MedED. I have always had a passion for teaching, having tutored 60+ students while also enjoying publicity aspects, and this role gives me the opportunity to combine both. Thus, I am very keen to be your Publicity Officer! My plan to further build on the publicity this year involves:
- Creative content development: As the creative head of IndiaSoc for this past year, I have developed extensive skills in content creation, ranging from Instagram posts to video and audio editing.
- Engagement: One of the most effective ways to build on a society’s online presence further is by having regular posts and stories that include polls, questions, etcetera, which engage with the viewers.
- Adaptability: Having helped with publicity for conferences hosting 250+ people, I realised that as a publicist, one needs to rapidly adjust strategies according to changing circumstances. I believe that from my aforementioned experiences, I have developed the required time management and organisational skills.
The creative design, communication and adaptability skills I have developed through my various roles, such as creative head and Imperial’s BMA representative, would be beneficial to better advertise and attract students for the teaching sessions. Therefore, I seek your support as I aspire to serve as a publicity officer. If elected, I pledge to help further the society’s mission through extensive and engaging publicity.
