Chloe Guo
Hi, everyone! I'm Chloe, a second-year biological sciences student fascinated by oncological pathways and treatments. I'm running for the Palliative Care Officer of the Oncology Club because I believe that health is a combination of scientific exploration and humanistic care. For me, Biology is a universal language used to translate the world, covering everything from the mechanism of bodies and disease to biodiversity. My courses and field of interest interweave, along with clinical applications, the mechanisms of our bodies, pathways of diseases and ecological data modelling. My academic journey and club experience will provide me with extensive knowledge to understand and explore oncological pathology. Now, I feel compelled to contribute my efforts to the humanistic side. After spending time with senior patients at the Hospital, I felt deeply connected with those suffering. I'm confident that my teamwork, communication, organisation and innovation skills will help them both professionally and empathetically.
