Anoushka Khot

Hi, I’m Anoushka. I hope to be your Gastroenterology and Hepatology Education Officer because I recognise that these fields of medicine are at the apex in terms of career prospects. In this way, delivery of education must be effective, continual and in an enjoyable environment. My experience and skills involve being Events Officer for Respiratory Medicine Society, and I have been coaching prospective medical students with ICSM Vision and have been a lecturer for Phase 1a medical students. I value the gift of knowledge and the art of education and it is with these experiences in addition to 8 years in tutoring, together we can address the academic struggles, challenges and opportunities in these fields of medicine.

It is for this reason, whilst being open to more suggestions by the student body, I aim to support students in research opportunities, promoting evidence-based practice amongst students. In addition to this, the provision of academic resources and highly interactive lectures on the gastroenterology and hepatology content covered in exams would significantly increase student progress, success and satisfaction.
