Despite not yet having had the pleasure of a week of sun, sea, sand... Sailing! In the sunny Mediterranean, my interest in the mighty summer sail week was quickly peaked. [admittedly aided (quite substantially) by a slightly revelous Aleksei after a 1v1 game of danger can in Reading...]
I would look to merge this role with the social positions that already exist within the club, due to the greater role in organising now played by NUCO, and with a solid precedent of success and glory now firmly set within the wider university. Other than that, i would keep this beloved week long social firmly in its place as the greatest tour organised by an Imperial CSP.
For SSW25, as a club we should look to push the trip especially to the Fresher sailors that didnt make the squad at the start of the year. This will aid our expansion as a club to include more social sailors and intergrate them within the wider club more successfully following the rollout of summer development courses.
P.S this was litreally my job for 4 months at sunsail.. I might have mentioned it once or twice.
Yours truly and sailing love xoxo
