I am applying now for my third year in the team captaincy role. The simple reason being how much I enjoy the role and the work that goes towards making this club a serioulsy competitive cue sport university that can win titles.

I can still remember the first social session I went to back in 2021 and being asked to play at what was my very first BUCS tournament. I've never looked back since!

At this point in time, the society was in a bad place. With only about 30 active members and consistently getting knocked out of univeristy tournaments in early rounds, it was hard to foster a competitive spirit and community.

BUT, everything changed in 2022, when the club was led by arguably one of the best commitee's of its time. There was a focus on making things happen and creating an entirely new culture at Imperial. Now we have over 120 members and Imperial have become one of the leading cue sport univeristies in the UK.

This year under my captaincy, Imperial have won the Leeds 9 ball Cup and Midlands Snooker Cup for the first time in history. Not to mention nearly winning BUCS 8 ball this year (bronze medal).

My goals for the next year:

• Imperial to win a BUCS tournament
• Establish a new university tournament
• Professional coaching for each discipline
• Structured squad practise
• attain sponsorships
• develop a squad that can win all 3 BUCS events
• Build depth in our 2s and 3s
