Amber Wadsworth

Hi I am a second-year Medical Biosciences student eager to contribute my financial acumen and dedication to the success and sustainability of the Bioscience Review.

My vision for the role of Treasurer revolves around transparent financial management, ensuring the Bioscience Review's continued growth and impact.

I have previous experiance working with finances at an accountacy firm where I acquired necessary knowledge and skills regarding managing a business's finances and completing sales invoices. I also gained necessary numerical skills and advanced knowledge on the usage of Microsoft Excel.

During university, I have had experience of writing claims for grants from external sources and also the lab projects I have taken part in I feel have greatly advanced my communication and attention to detail.

Furthermore during my time as Team Captain for my county football team my team collaboration skills were strengthened and I look forward to applying these to collaboration with the Bioscience Review team to align financial strategies with overall missions and objectives.

I am excited about the opportunity to serve as the Treasurer for the Bioscience Review and believe my background will position me to manage the financial aspects of the society effectively.
