Harishankar Shikkulal

Hello, my name is Harishankar Shikkulal, and I'm interested in running for the cultural representative role offered by Malayali Society:

1. I'm interested in this role as it allows me to promote my traditions through vibrant events, workshops, and programs that represent the culture of God's own country: Kerala. I'm also looking forward to collaborate with other universities to organize many cultural events across the year and take Malayali society to newer heights.

2. I have relevant experience in team management, both academically and non-academically, which makes me suitable for this role. Therefore, I pledge to champion and lead events that promote our rich culture whilst fostering inclusivity and progress, which is crucial for the success of this society.

3. I am an accomplished leader with strong communication skills, which allows me to effectively pass on my interests and ideas to other members, ensuring the society's smooth functioning and progressive growth.

If offered this role, my main priority is to improving the society's popularity by organising a host of cultural events, ranging from cultural socials to sports, by effectively collaborating with other members. I would like to hold weekly meetings with the comittee to discuss my ideas for the academic year, whilst listening to other members to take notes on providing better socials than before.
