Kaitlyn Lee
Hey everybody! I am Kaitlyn Lee, a first-year Chemical Engineering student.
As Event Officer, my primary objectives are to perpetuate our main annual events, such as the FemTech Summit and Conference. I aspire to cultivate an engaging and relaxing environment that combines enlightenment and tranquillity, where you can participate and connect with esteemed guest speakers. As an Imperialist, I certainly do recognize the pressures we all face. In light of this, I intend to introduce novel social gatherings, such as spirited game nights and movie screenings for you to unwind and forge bonds. Additionally, I am eager to expand our outreach by collaborating with other societies and universities, fostering a sense of unity and shared experiences.
Despite being a first-year scholar, I bring a range of valuable experiences that have equipped me with both the soft and hard skills required for this role. Serving as a member of the PASS subcommittee has allowed me to form connections with students from all across the UK, a network that I believe will greatly benefit our society. Additionally, my involvement in the Prefect's Board, the debate team, and Club Chairlady has honed my organisational and communication skills, making me confident in my ability to fulfil the responsibilities of the Events Officer.
Ultimately, my unwavering dedication lies in creating a vibrant and inclusive Femtech community. I am excited to unlock the potential in shaping a future marked by equality, innovative healthcare and technology with all of you. Together, creating even more cherished memories!
