Aryan Kakwani

Hi ICUCC,

I’m Aryan and I’m a fresher this year and have joined the better uni cricket club despite being a medic.

Over the course of the year, I’ve made some of my closest friends through cricket and this is largely down to how welcoming people in the club were this year. I hope to also create an environment next year where others can build their best memories.

Since the start of the year, I’ve enjoyed attending the socials and I’m pretty sure I have a higher social attendance than uni so I think this qualifies me for being a good social sec.

Don’t think there are many people who have a bigger love for slug in the club (apart from maybe Heath cos he was there every day I’m pretty sure).

I have some great ideas for next year including implementing some more non-drinking socials to cater to everyone in the club such as watching some professional games. Equally, I’m also thinking about having cross sport socials with other clubs at the uni.

I hope you consider me as your social sec for next year.
