Hello everyone!

I am Letong Xu, a second-year undergraduate student in biological sciences. I aspire to serve as Assistant Chief Secretary of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA). I hope to build a vibrant and inclusive community where every member feels empowered to flourish academically, culturally, and professionally.

If I am successfully elected to be the Assistant Chief Secretary of the CSSA, I will achieve the following promises:

Strengthening collaboration: As a member of the global corporation department for the China-UK Summit last summer, I understand the value of strong bonds between CSSA departments and external organizations, and I know how to communicate with them effectively. In my role as Assistant Chief Secretary, I'll prioritize maintaining and enhancing these collaborative partnerships for the benefit of our community.

2. Prompt Communication: I'm committed to being there for you when you need assistance. Feel free to contact me and I'll respond promptly to your inquiries. Your questions and concerns are important, and I'm here to address them swiftly and effectively.

Preserving Traditions and Accepting Innovation: Honor and preserve the traditions and values that define CSSA's legacy while embracing new ideas and approaches that respond to the evolving needs and aspirations of our community. I will encourage creativity in our activities and events, inspiring our members to push boundaries and explore new horizons.
