Yifeng Mao

My name is Yifeng Mao, and I am running for the Deputy President Postgraduate in the Chinese Student and Scholar Association (CSSA) at Imperial College London. As a dedicated member of our association, I am committed to making the community of Chinese students and scholars more progressive, proactive, and influential.

My first priority is to advocate the re-establishment of the Imperial alumni organization in China. This initiative is crucial for all past exchanged and graduated students from the ICL. We can achieve a tighter bond among Imperial alumni and a more united alumni community. I plan to work closely with my future CSSA colleagues to ensure we can make a success.

Secondly, I am committed to improving the quality of cultural and sports activities by increasing funding and personnel. I plan to co-work with my future colleagues to regularly organize sports events, drama nights, board game gatherings.

Third, I will be working on expanding the connections with various external organizations to actively seek research, internship and networking opportunities for all Imperial Chinese students. Besides, I will enhance our connection with career offices, university alumni associations and local governments, to better organize job fairs and advocate Imperial Chinese students participating in the programs tailored for distinguished talents.
