Mustafaa Khan

Hi there! I'm Mustafaa, a 2nd year medical student, I'm thrilled to run for the LMAP secretary position.

After studying LMAP as a 2nd year student this year I have been inspired to engage more about this emerging field. Public health is relevant to all areas of medicine and the complex ideas of inequity, planetary health, and deprivation draw my attention in a unique way that few other parts of medicine do.

My Skills & Experience:

• Already been secretary for respiratory society and am the founding secretary of the new transplant and vascular society.
• Experience in leading conference organisation as SORA national conference lead.
• Understanding of student union forms and admin as nutritank events officer.
• Know how to promote events from my roles as publicity officer for infectious diseases society and pharmacology society.
• In total I held 6 committee roles this year improving my teamwork and time management skills.

As secretary I hope to contibute to the work the committee is doing to both assist student with the LMAP course but also explore public and global health in more depth.
