Hi everyone!

My name is Penny, and I am a first-year undergraduate Chemistry student. I am standing for the position of academic representative because I believe it is a valuable and honourable opportunity to improve our course and support every student!

My aims this year are to:

• Listen to, collect feedback, and signpost students.

• Work with staff and department reps to make your opinions, needs, and issues addressed.

• Raise accurate and constructive feedback to develop student-centric solutions.

Drawing on my past experiences as a member of the Prefect team and a Chemistry subject ambassador, I will be committed to achieving these goals. I look forward to representing the students’ voices and acting on issues such as workload, examination timing, learning environment, etc.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to represent you, and to contribute positively to your university experience. Let's work together to make our first year at Imperial as good as it can be!
