Hello everyone, I’m Belle, and I am running to be the Year 1 Chemistry Academic Representative.
I understand that transitioning from secondary school to university can be challenging, especially at an academically rigorous institution like Imperial. This is a new beginning for all of us, and I am committed to supporting each of you in your studies and ensuring that your voices are heard. I hope we can work together to improve our academic environment!
If being elected as the Academic Representative, I hope to achieve the following:
- Accessibility: If you have any problems, you can contact me via Instagram, email, or phone. Forums and anonymous surveys will be set up for students who do not want to raise their questions in person.
- Quick Action: I strive to address any concerns or difficulties quickly and effectively, as well as pass your feedback to our department while collaborating with the student union to ensure the best quality education for all year 1 students.
- Inclusivity: Every opinions will be acknowledged and acted upon, and I will work hard to ensure that everyone’s needs are appropriately addressed.
- Emotional support: Recognizing the pressure of university academic life, I will support events that promote student mental health.
