Adithi Rajesh

Hey, I am Adithi, an international student from Singapore running to be your academic rep. Since my role is to hear your concerns and address them, I plan on starting with the issues that have been bothering you.

1. The first step is improving the attendED app, making sure it is less glitchy and more useful so we don't have to constantly worry about not meeting minimum attendance, especially my fellow international students who are concerned about visas getting revoked.

2. Next up is fixing the ventilation in RCS1 101 so that the Maths and Phys students don’t overheat because it gets stuffy in there.

3. I have also heard a lot of students struggling with the pacing (me, I’m struggling), especially those who didn't do either Biology or Physics and now need to self-study for Med Chem or the physics content in Chem modules. I will introduce additional(drop-in) group study and peer-review sessions with senior students facilitating the process so that we can work and study together.

4. Many of you may have also struggled to contact your chem families. Thus, I hope to establish a 1-1 mentor-mentee system for those who want some extra advice or guidance from experienced students.
