Hello fellow chemists, I’m Amal and I’m standing to be your Year 3 Academic Representative.

Over the past two years, we have grown into resilient and innovative thinkers. As we reach this critical point in our studies, I believe it’s essential to have someone dedicated to ensuring that not only are your voices heard, but also that your needs are met.

I’m someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people — not only approachable but also willing to listen to others’ perspectives. With your trust, I am committed to advocating for improvements within our programme, enhancing communication between teaching staff and students, and building a collaborative and inclusive environment for everyone.

In addition to this I will also push for:

• Clearer lab report and viva guidance/feedback, especially in physical labs
• Provide Curriculum Transparency to ensure all students are aware of expectations
• Both Pre-/Post-Examination support to address any students' concerns

and many more.
