Hey everyone,

I’m Zak, and I'm running to be your academic rep for this year. If you don't know me already, I'm the guy that broke the seat in the front row of LT1 during the Brian Cox event (that seat is still broken btw).

If I'm being honest, I'd very much just like to beat Will, and I may just be running to spite him, but here are some reasons why I believe I'd genunely be a good fit for this role:

• Experience: I’ve already got leadership experience at Imperial as a former Horizons representative and a current member on the ICSM Music Society committee. I know how to listen to feedback and represent a group’s interests.
• Communication: I already post far too much in the group chat, so why not make it my job? I’ll keep you all updated with anything important and make sure your concerns are heard and brought to staff.
• Approachability: I’m always around, so if you’ve got any issues or feedback, I am more than happy for you to chat with me.

If you want someone who will represent you with a mix of relatability, dedication and a slight tendency to fall asleep during lectures, I’d appreciate your vote!
