Vanessa Dubreuil

Hey everyone!! My name is Vanessa and I'm a first year molecular bioengineering student, you may have seen me around in your lectures:) The reason I'm nominating myself for this position is because I genuinely want to help my fellow MBE students, whether this be with certain questions on problem sheets, or if you've got an unfair schedule, too many deadlines, the list goes on. I have great communication skills and I'm not afraid to speak up for you, I guarantee that if any issues arise I will be sure to manage it on time and contact the appropriate people. I will not give up until a fair solution has been reached.

Having been the leader of the student council in my high school, I'm familiar with diplomacy on an educational level and organising effective ways to help out students in their academic challenges (yes- this even includes talking to that mean professor who just refuses to cooperate). I promise to take your complaints seriously and in a timely manner, help you out academically, and allow our cohort to not be bogged down by academic barriers caused by mismanagement. As a bonus-- I do speak Chinese and English, so feel free to communicate with me in whichever language you choose:)
