Hi guys! This is Karina standing for your course academic rep! I’m really excited to run for this position. I know this role is all about serving everyone, and I am confident that my experiences and plans can make our time in the BTV program even better.

I have served in various positions, including:

• Class representative in high school
• Leader of the iGEM synthetic biology school team
• Founder and leader of my high school's brain science club

If elected, here's what I plan to do:

1. Anonymous feedback: I'll set up an anonymous feedback channel to relay your concerns and suggestions to our professors and department. This will ensure your voices are heard while respecting your privacy.
2. Be accessible: Our course is small, which allows me to be readily available. I'll provide timely updates on course-related matters and respond promptly to your queries.
3. Share resources: Imperial offers numerous opportunities that are easy to miss. I'll keep you informed about relevant career fairs, society activities, and study materials like past papers.
4. Social events: I’ll plan fun social events to help us bond as a group(and hopefully can get Mr. Ben to join us too :D). The goal is to cultivate a BTV family that’s supportive, inclusive, and fun.
