Hello, I’m Tianhao LI, and I’m running to be your Interfaith Welfare Officer. I am dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all faiths and beliefs at Imperial College. Here’s my vision for a more inclusive community:

Promote Interfaith Dialogue and Understanding: I will organize interfaith events, discussion forums, and cultural exchange programs to encourage understanding and respect among different religious and spiritual communities. These events will provide a platform for open conversations on shared values and unique traditions.

Enhance Faith-Based Support Services: I will advocate for increased access to faith-specific welfare resources, such as prayer rooms, meditation spaces, and dietary accommodations. I’ll work to ensure these facilities are well-maintained and accessible to all who need them.

Combat Religious Discrimination: I will actively campaign against any form of religious discrimination and ensure that reporting mechanisms are effective and supportive. I will promote awareness programs to challenge stereotypes and foster an environment of mutual respect.

Collaborate with Faith Societies: I will work closely with student faith societies to identify their needs and support their activities. Together, we can strengthen the interfaith community and enhance the support network for students from all backgrounds.

Support Mental Health and Well-Being: I will advocate for holistic welfare services that consider the spiritual and mental well-being of students, ensuring support is accessible and sensitive to diverse faith perspectives.
