Aneesha Chester

Hi! I’m Aneesha and I’m running to be President of Fashion and Design Society this year!

I’m a 3rd year medic with a profound interest in fashion and creative innovation. I would love to have the opportunity to help shape and grow this amazing society that I’ve enjoyed being a part of.

Last year, I attended multiple ICFAD events and loved their friendly, artistic environment. As President, I would want to take this even further by finding ways to enhance creativity, encourage skill-building and foster an inclusive atmosphere that is open to all levels of expertise. My goal is make the society a welcoming place for everyone which represents a diverse range of styles and motivates people to explore different perspectives.

From leading art workshops to helping organise a fashion show during sixth form, I have many experiences which have deepened my love for fashion & design and I’m now eager to bring my creativity, ambition, and leadership skills to the role of President. Just as I’m passionate about fashion, I’m equally committed to making sure our society’s goals are met and that every member feels heard and valued.

I want ICFAD to be a fun and collaborative space which cultivates an environment where people feel excited to explore the world of fashion. I’m excited to meet more people who share my interest in style and I’m looking forward to discovering and implementing new ideas as well as developing new skills together.
