Having been vegan for over a year after discovering the cruelties of the animal industry, I am extremely proud to represent the vegan community and be a voice for the animals amongst my surroundings. I am currently in my master’s at Imperial, and would like to become VegSoc Events Officer to make as big of an impact as possible within the student community, one event at a time.
Living in London for almost 11 years has taught me a lot about the city and range of vegan places to go to (always curious to learn new ones though!) - where I would be eager to organise events at and potentially cater from for talks with vegan activists at Imperial. I have already embarked several friends into their own vegan journey, and would love to contribute to having that impact upon the Imperial community along with the rest of the VegSoc committee and members.
