Ethan Chang
Hello all! My name’s Ethan Chang, currently a 3rd year at Imperial.
The core of my endeavour is to streamline all events that’s already happening to make time for turning brand new ideas into reality. This greatly aligns with my consistent involvement in many societies, especially this year being part of committees of 3 separate societies.
My first exposure to AMSA was the “Welcome to Medical School” talk in the first few days of my university life. Following this, I continue to shadow and occasionally drop into some intriguing AMSA’s events. Whilst I wasn’t participating much, I have successfully helped in the rebranding of ICSM Squash from its financial difficulties. From my time as secretary, I have learnt to manage finances and was always thinking of different ways to work around a tight budget. This includes designing new logos using Adobe Illustrator, to facilitating communications concerning sponsors, tours, etc.
As Academic Officer, I hope to introduce 2 brand-new appealing features, listed below:

My experience in computing, from my role as technical director at GDSC and IT officer at ICSM Badminton, will benefit me in modernising AMSA and provide our diverse community with abundant resources, aiding all in their journeys and careers.
