Hello everyone!

Being an older sister, I have had a lot of experience cleaning up after people, so I am excited to put my skills to the test and throw my name in the ring for Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Felix! With a strong passion for journalism and a commitment to storytelling, I believe I can help us create a publication that truly resonates with our campus community.

In this role, my primary focus will be on supporting our Editor-in-Chief to ensure that our newspaper is not only informative but also engaging and relevant. I aim to strengthen our editorial processes, ensuring that our content is accurate, diverse, and reflective of the voices on campus.

I plan to implement regular brainstorming sessions, encouraging collaboration among writers and editors to generate fresh ideas and perspectives. By fostering an open environment, we can enhance the quality of our articles and keep our readers engaged.

Additionally, I will prioritise mentorship for newer members, helping them develop their writing and reporting skills. Together, we can cultivate a strong team that values creativity and constructive feedback.

As Deputy Editor-in-Chief, I would be honoured to work alongside all of you to make our newspaper a vital resource for information and inspiration. Let’s come together to elevate and make Felix a standout voice on campus!
