Lance Domingo

Hey, I'm Lance and I'm a 4th year medic currently doing Cardiovascular Sciences BSc. I believe I would be a great fit for the Academic Officer role for this year because, I would be very open to help and assist students who are currently in their placement, acting as a crutch for them in terms of queries or issues they have with anything. I understand how limited their time is with respect to where they have placement and the duration for when they are there so, I want to provide help in the form of tutorials and workshops which could hopefully be situated in easier time slots. I have had experience in organising tutorials with year 2 tutorials for Meded - I recently did a tutorial focusing on "Asthma and Respiratory Immunology and Restrictive Lung disease". I really enjoy doing tutorials online but also love doing lectures face to face thus, if any opportunities like this arises then, I would love to get involved also. I have had experience in giving public talks through assisting year 12-13 in applying to medical school thus, I am more than happy to provide face-to-face teaching too.
