Maria Smirnova

Hi everyone! I'm Maria, a final-year of Computing undergraduate, and I'm excited to run for the position of Data Officer. Together with my friend Julie, who is also a member, I aim to build a nice and user-friendly website for our Yoga Society to make everyone's experience simpler and faster, so that we can focus on what matters most - our practice.

By working as a team, we'll deliver the website quickly and ensure it contains well-developped functionalities! We've already worked on programming projects together, so our experience and skills will help us.

Yoga and university societies are not just about practice - they're also a place to relax and meet people. With a smooth website, all of this becomes accessible ;)

What our work will contain:

- Efficient Booking System: Saving time and effort for everyone.

- Automated Attendance Sheets: Making life easier for the team managing the sessions.

- Additional Features: Introducing exciting, useful options to enrich yoga practice, making it both more pleasant and educational :D

This is the first time that Julie and I are making yoga a part of our daily lives. Combining this new hobby with our love for coding will make our involvement in the Yoga Society even more fulfilling :)
