Dear Orthopaedics Society Members,

I am running for Research Lead. With a passion for advancing orthopaedic research, I bring valuable experience, having presented posters and an oral presentation at the Scientific Sessions conference in Philadelphia. I am also actively involved in orthopaedic-related research projects, equipping me with essential skills in study design, data analysis, and scientific communication.

If elected, I will enhance the society’s research culture through three key initiatives:

1. Mentorship Program: I will establish a mentorship scheme pairing students with experienced researchers and senior peers, providing valuable guidance and fostering collaborations that support research development.
2. Research Workshops and Showcases: I will organize workshops focused on key skills like systematic reviews, data analysis, and manuscript writing. Additionally, regular "Research Showcases" will offer members opportunities to present ongoing work and gain feedback.
3. Enhanced Research Presence at the Annual Conference: I will work to increase the visibility of our members' research at the existing conference by organizing dedicated poster sessions, award categories for student research and opportunities for interactive discussions.

With my background and commitment to orthopaedics, I am confident in my ability to elevate our research standards and create meaningful opportunities for all members.
