Hi! My name is Nilani, and I would love to be your treasurer at the LMAP Society!

Promoting a healthier lifestyle and preventative medicine is a passion of mine and should be established in practice. Having volunteered in numerous healthcare services, I have gained insight into the importance of health promotion in primary care. I believe my financial and organisational skills will contribute to the success of LMAP society. My experience in budget management and attention to detail makes me suited for this role.

As a private tutor, I manage schedules and payments for multiple clients, which requires strong organisational and financial management skills. Furthermore, as a former secretary, I was responsible for maintaining records, managing logistics and ensuring completion of administrative tasks. This role has strengthened my organisation and my ability to handle important information. As Sponsorship Officer for ICSM MWF, I gained valuable experience negotiating with external organisations to secure funding for events. I am responsible for ensuring sponsorship funds are budgeted and distributed adequately. These experiences have equipped me with the skills necessary to be an effective Treasurer.

Being a Treasurer requires organisation and responsibility. If elected, I will ensure financial management, allocate appropriate funding for events and manage the budget to support the society. I aim to contribute to a society that advocates for preventative medicine and health promotion, and I am committed to supporting the financial stability of this society.
