Japanese: Treasurer

Hi, everyone:) I'm Kuala Kaneto, a 2nd year studying Biochemistry.

Joining Japanese society at the beginning of this academic year provided me with a sense of belonging and acceptance in a new environment where I initially felt nervous. Having this supportive network helped me engage more actively in all aspects of university life. As I very much appreciate the presence of this society, I would love to be part of Japanese society as treasurer and provide a platform where everyone can feel included.

Having lived abroad for 7 years, I’ve come to appreciate the value of our culture deeply, and it is something I am very proud of. Through this society, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with people who share a strong interest in our culture, regardless of where we come from. This diversity and shared passion, I believe, is one of the most enriching aspects of being part of the Japanese society.

I believe I am an ideal candidate for treasurer due to my experience as a sports department representative in high school. While the role of a sports captain may seem different from that of a treasurer, both positions require strong organizational skills, responsibility, and the ability to manage resources effectively. These overlaps have equipped me with the capabilities to excel as your treasurer.

By joining Japanese society as a treasurer, I am committed to enhancing our society to provide “Home away from home” for everyone who values our culture.

Let's 青春謳歌 together:)
