Dear Royal Miners

As Sponsorship Officer last year, I dedicated my time and efforts to building the framework for current and future sponsorship campaigns strengthening the RSM’s ties with industry and non-industry companies.

I would like to build on this success as Treasurer for the 25/26 academic year. Having already worked closely with the previous Treasurer I have already gained experience in the financial running of the RSMU. Crucially I understand the importance of delivering financially sound budgeting which can bring real benefits to all RSMU members and strengthen the department I am so proud of.

If you vote for me, I promise to work tirelessly to ensure that RSMU members are always put first, and that the entire Committee can deliver on their goals backed by the effective financial planning. With the cost-of-living crisis I know many of you are concerned with rising prices and I will do my upmost to mitigate passing on this extra burden to you all with the tickets to events and other paid for activities that form part of the thriving RSM social ecosystem we all know and love.
