Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a lovely day! My name is Isabella and I study Biological Sciences with a Year in Industry/Research, currently on my placement year. I am very excited to run for RCSU Secretary for 2025-2026!
As your secretary, I would support the rest of the RCSU committee by providing:
- Regular and concise newsletters - keep you updated on the key union activities and events
- Clear meeting minutes and agendas - clear and easily understandable records and summaries of meetings
- Feedback forms - a way for members to feedback and have their voices heard
- Improved merch - expand the range beyond just the purple hoodies
My relevant experience consists of the following:
- Hall Senior at Beit Hall - Planning lots of regular events and making posters for large-scale events
- Secretary of Hall Commitee - Taking minutes at every fortnightly Hall Committee Meeting
- Year in Industry Placement - Organising meetings, social events and taking minutes at General Lab Meetings
- Treasurer for Comp Bio Soc - Understanding how CSPs work and managing budget and expenditure
