Khushi Joshi

Hey everyone! I'm Khushi, and I'm running to be your Broadsheet Editor. With a passion for writing and editing, I want to bring fresh ideas, creativity, and high standards to the Broadsheet, making it an engaging and informative platform for everyone in the community. Here’s why I’m the right fit for the role:

- Strong Writing and Editing Background: I’ve achieved a Distinction in Trinity College London’s Communication Skills program (Grades 1-8), where I worked with various writing formats, including articles, speeches, and reports. My internship as a college counselling writer and editor further honed my skills, where I was tasked with writing blog posts and editing important college application essays

- Press Writing & Editing Experience: As a press writer and editor for multiple MUN conferences, I gained experience editing and proofreading articles for publication. I also contributed my own articles, learning how to balance editing precision with creative expression.

- Blogging & Scientific Writing: I run my own blog where I write book reviews, giving me the chance to experiment with different writing styles. Additionally, I’ve written two research papers with academic guidance, making me comfortable with the structure of scientific writing and academic content.

- Passion for Science Communication: I’m an avid reader of National Geographic and dream of contributing to their works one day. This passion for science communication is something I would love to bring to the Broadsheet, highlighting the diverse voices and stories within our academic community.
