Hi, I'm Sreenithi! I would love to be your Early Years Academic Officer!

My third year at ICSM is flying by so I know my own early years are well behind me, but I still remember how overwhelming those first two years of medical school can feel. The transition to university learning is a huge adjustment, and having the right support makes all the difference. I want to make sure every student feels empowered as they tackle this new challenge.

I know just how valuable I found SU support, particularly through the CPA mock exams. Having helped on the day as subcommittee and examiner for the past two years, I know the organisation, teamwork and attention to detail needed to ensure everything goes smoothly, while still allowing time for high-quality feedback. I also want to strengthen mentoring and guidance from older years, so students feel confident tackling exams.

Ultimately, my goal is to make early years learning more structured, manageable, and engaging, especially as you're still learning how you best learn. By creating more opportunities for student feedback, I will work hard to ensure that your thoughts are heard and acted upon, working closely with faculty to implement changes that students truly want.

Your early years should be more than just academics. By making that side of things as easy and stress-free as it can be, I want to help students to feel comfortable and balanced, both inside and outside of medicine!
