Francis Li

Hi everyone! I am Francis Li, an Aeronautical Engineering student with sincere passion for sports as well as the current CGCU Sports Officer. Embarking on my love for sports was like discovering a hidden world of passion and excitement, and it fueled my determination to share my enthusiasm for sports and contribute to our union. I would like to apply to run for CGCU Sports Officer once again!

During my time serving as chair of the Sports Division in high school, I navigated the challenges of the pandemic to keep our community active and engaged. Through innovative competitions and charity sport events, we fostered a spirit of participation and support, proving that adversity can lead to creativity and unity.

Now at Imperial, being the one of the captains in ICWFC has further cemented my commitment to sports. And for the past one year being the CGCU Sports Officer, I organized the interdepartmental sports tournaments for engineering students, as well as the E-sports competition. My vision as CGCU Sports Officer is to deepen our college's sports culture, among all our Engineering students, by organizing inclusive events that celebrate our collective Engineer identity and passion for sports.

I am excited to bring my experience, energy, and ideas to enhance our sense of community through sports. Let's make next year memorable, active, and united!
