Hi everyone,

I’m Chloe, and I’m nominating for the position of Event Officer. With a background in various leadership roles—including Civil Engineering Female Representative, International Captain, Tennis Captain, and CGCU Committee Member—I bring a wealth of experience in project management, event organization, and innovative marketing.

I’m passionate about making a positive impact and leveraging my diverse skill set, honed through education in both China and Australia, to create dynamic and memorable events. This dual cultural exposure has broadened my horizons and shaped my approach to problem-solving and community engagement.

As Event Officer, I aim to:

Strengthen Community Bonds: Foster connections among our members through inclusive events that create a genuine sense of belonging.

Drive Innovative Projects: Use my extensive project experience, including my role on the CGCU committee, to design and execute creative initiatives that resonate with our community.

Enhance Event Accessibility: Ensure that all events are accessible and engaging, whether they’re in-person or online.

Promote Student-Centric Activities: Effectively advertise CGCU events and expand our offerings by organizing esports and additional sports events for students.

My diverse roles have equipped me to manage tasks efficiently while promoting diverse voices. Serving as a CGCU committee member has given me hands-on experience in planning, executing, and refining projects that deliver results. My commitment to helping others—through mentoring and supporting international peers—drives me to create events that truly reflect the vibrancy of our community.
