The position of the Spanner Bearer is one of great prestigue and one I wish to uphold to it's stature. The events hoseted by CGCU effect all engineers in this university, providing the offer to have great collaboration between all courses and have the mingling of different engineers.

As the events officer, I would ensure not only fair opportunities, but also shared opportunities between different engineering courses to increase cohesion between various departmnents..

I would also hope to organize more events like the recent CGCU activities (go-karting, cat petting, horse riding...) to provide students with fun and novel activies as a break from their courses.

I hope to also conduct some inter-course hackathons as the CGCU Events Officer to help students from different courses work together to find sollutions to real problems. This would be judged by our professors and senior students.

Lastly, I would like to cater to your needs, hence would create a request portal, where students could send feeback and request more events.

I hope to work with the heads of CGCU and others to help create a better university expereince...
