Alexia Martin

Hello Royal Miners!

For those who don’t know me I’m Alexia (Lexi), a second year EPS student. During my time in the RSM I have attended every dinner, pub crawl and social the RSMU has had to offer (including 2 Bottle matches playing for the netball team) so it’s highly likely you’ll find me in the union bar for some RSM related activity. I’ve even organised events myself through committee roles of Wellbeing and Events officer and Netball social sec this year, so I’m excited to step up and take on an executive role in helping run the RSMU. My experience means I’ve got a good understanding of how the union operates and what’s required to ensure another successful year of events (despite any difficulties we face!). I have great relationships and communication with members of other societies, in both ESE and Materials, and so this role is perfect for me to use those connections to plan and promote RSMU events. Therefore, I would love to be your VPAE this year to allow smooth organisation of the traditional annual events and perhaps create some new ones.
