I'm Sofia Hueffer, and I'm excited to be running as your Academic Representative!
Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving as your Year 2 Academic Representative, consistently bringing forward the issues you’ve raised and pushing for meaningful improvements. Thanks to this experience and regular meetings with the programme team, our voices are already being heard! A great example of this that some of you might remember is the adjustments to the Advanced Machine Learning elective or changes in lectures based on your feedback, and I’m committed to driving even more positive changes that matter to you.
Being an Academic Representative is no small task (lots of meetings!), but it’s a crucial role in ensuring our course continues to improve, especially with it being so new. With your support, I’ll keep advocating for the changes you want to see.
