Hi everyone, I’m Zhixuan!
Two years ago, as a BME fresher, Bioengineering Society was the first club I joined. I attended the Welcome Fair and was immediately inspired by the vibrant energy and collaboration within this community. Since then, I’ve attended numerous events, met incredible peers, and grown both academically and socially. Now, I feel so strong that it’s my turn to contribute.
As your Industrial Events Coordinator, I will:
- Unlock More Internship & Research Opportunities!
- Strengthen partnerships with leading bioengineering companies and startups to provide direct access to internships, career insights, and networking opportunities
- Expand alumni networks and organise alumni panels with academics, PhD graduates and industry professionals
- Your Voice, Your Society!
- Enhance transparency with regular social media updates to keep everyone informed
- Establish an open feedback system where every member can submit valuable ideas anonymously and help shape future of industrial events
- More Than a Career Fair – A Pathway to Internships!
- Secure exclusive internships and launching monthly opportunity updates
- Expand internship accessibility by launching an Internship Mentorship & Guidance Program, where students with internship experience share insights
Over the last few years, I’ve successfully led an NGO and four student clubs, impacting 600+ people while developing strong leadership and organisational skills. With my experience and passion for student engagement, I’m ready to take on the responsibility of Industrial Event Coordinator.
