Malaysian: Vice President

MNight has been my most unforgettable experience with ICUMS. As someone who had never performed on stage before, this year’s MNight pushed me beyond my limits. As a lead actor and vocalist, I poured my emotions into every scene — crying, singing in a language I didn’t speak, and even writing and performing a diss track in front of hundreds. From auditions to the final curtain call, I embraced every moment and discovered the true power of MNight — not just as a performance, but as a celebration of our shared identity, culture, and community.

This experience inspired me to run for this position, as I want to create an environment where every ICUMS member feels included, connected, and most importantly, has fun — just as I did during MNight. With my experience in the past MNight, along with my leadership background as Vice President of a TEDx event at Kolej Yayasan UEM, I have the skills, knowledge, and understanding needed to make the next MNight even better than the last.

If elected, aside from collaborating with the President to strengthen ICUMS, my goals for MNight are to:

  • Improve interdepartmental communication and collaboration through structured channels
  • Streamline and enhance the logistics and planning of MNight
  • Encourage increased member participation while fostering a strong sense of community within the team
  • Boost audience attendance through targeted promotional strategies

I will dedicate myself fully to making both ICUMS and MNight more inclusive, vibrant and enjoyable for all. Thank you for your consideration!
