Hi I'm Zahir!

I was President of Art Club for 24/25 and I'm standing again this year!

We got a lot of good things done in 24/25!

• Negotiated a grant from the Union to reduce prices for members
• Ran workshops without instructors to reduce prices for members (e.g £3 for lifedrawing sessions instead of £10!)
• Pushed membership over 200 for the first time ever (+20% on previous high)
• Started catchup classes for those who have missed out on workshops (we keep spare materials now)

However the work is not done! There are some things we would like to improve

• Creating an artclub shop where you can buy supplies at wholesale price or less (we have a wholesale account now so this is happening soon!)
• Creating an artclub selling platform for members work where you can sell prints etc
• Gettting more grant or potentially sponsorhip so we can reduce workshop prices for members further (hopefully to £0)
• Running a few more socials- the workshops have gone super well but we realise we need to do more with socials.
