Hi everyone, we are Aayush and Delisha and we would love to be your co-Presidents of Hindu Society next year!

Both of us have been on committee this year with Delisha being Events Officer and Aayush as Treasurer. We are extremely proud of the events Hindu Society have hosted this year and hope that you enjoyed it as much as us; it’s been amazing to watch Hindu Society grow since we were freshers. Next year, we want to take Hindu Soc to the next level and our skills together will ensure that we are the most equipped duo to make this happen.

We aim to continue with the expansion of sewa activities, specifically giving back to the community through daan (charity) events. Our plans include more charity fundraisers, such as providing hot meals for homeless communities. Through Hindu Soc, we want to provide the opportunity for students to reconnect with their dharmic roots, something we realise is often lost over time. As Presidents, we hope to organise more thought-provoking and spiritual discussions for everyone to attend. Alongside this, we are looking forward to celebrating our Hindu festivals with a bigger emphasis on the meaning behind them. Not to forget all the major festivals we celebrate throughout the year, we are hoping to come back bigger and better than ever.
