Hi everyone!
I’m Gabriel, a third year Physics student currently on my year abroad in Valencia. As an Erasmus student, I understand the challenges of moving to a new city: finding housing, making friends, adjusting to university life, and more. That’s why I want to be part of ESN Imperial, to support both incoming and outgoing exchange students and make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
To ensure our society thrives, we need an organised and well-connected committee to plan events, build partnerships, and manage finances effectively. Currently, I am a volunteer at ESN University of Valencia, where I am gaining valuable insights into how the internal organisation of the committee works. These experiences are preparing me to lead ESN Imperial with a clear vision and fresh ideas.
Working alongside the committee, I plan to continue ESN Imperial’s fantastic events, such as market visits, pub crawls, and the iconic Edinburgh trip, while also reviving past favourites like visits to Oxford. My experience with ESN Valencia has inspired new ideas for the society, including:
- New collaborations with other ESN societies
- An Erasmus Survival Guide to help students navigate their exchange
- More casual events, such as picnics and informal gatherings
By the end of your Erasmus stay, I want this to be one of the best years of your life, filled with incredible memories and lifelong friendships.
I would love your vote so we can make ESN Imperial better than ever! 😊
