Victor Ofodile

African Caribbean: President

Hi guys, I’m Victor Ofodile, a second-year medical student and the current Sponsorship Officer for ACS. I’m running for President of ACS because I believe it should be more than just a society for big events—it should be a community where members feel connected, supported, and valued. My goal is to make ACS a consistent part of student life, allowing members to network, grow, and have fun.

Key Initiatives & Plans

  • Making ACS a True Community – Introducing sports teams and music ensembles, hosting game nights, study sessions, and making the group chat more interactive.
  • Career & Networking Opportunities – Organising finance, medicine & healthcare, engineering, and tech networking events with professionals to provide insight. Strengthening mentorship programs to connect students across year groups.
  • Stronger Cultural and Campus Presence – Continuing events like Chop Chop and BK Chat, while introducing new flagship events to strengthen ACS’s presence on campus.

Why Me?

As Sponsorship Officer, I focused on making ACS appealing to companies to secure sponsorships. As President, I’ll use that experience to make ACS more appealing to members, ensuring the society truly serves them.

I also served as an Academic Representative for Phase 1B Medicine, representing the cohort and ensuring their voices were heard. I will bring that same dedication to representing Afro-Caribbean students in ACS and ensuring everyone feels valued.

Many of you are familiar with me as I am friendly and always up for a chat with anyone. Vote for me, and let’s build a thriving ACS community.
