GALS, I just love the hockey club. It’s been the best decision I made. From trips to Harlington and Potters Bar to our cup final it’s genuinely been one of my favourite parts of uni (maybe not Potters Bar lol). I love that ICSMLHC welcomes the biggest superstars to complete beginners and I would LOVE to be your club captain next year. It would be an honour to continue Ella’s unreal work.

What I've done:

AS TREASURER:

· Biggest SMHA funding yet

· Covered raising cost of umpires

· Reimbursed some home-travel

· Applied for ADF for unexpected success

· Helped organise tour

· Knowledge of union processes

AS 2S CAPTAIN:

· Won Varsity

· full teams at most games!!

· 2^nd in league (fuming at RVC)

What I'd love to do:

IMPROVING THE HOCKEY SEASON:

· Supporting the captains:

o 1s–transition in players

o 2s–entering new league

o 3s–keeping fresher intake high

o Saturdays–newbies involved from first week

· Player of the week

· Helping captains book minibuses

WELFARE:

· Sunday morning brunch for new freshers

· Non-hockey related socials (bracelets @stephxx)

· Monthly check-in form

TOUR:

· Increase places

· Final year’s location input

· Keep tour matches

FRESHERS:

· 2-1 committee fresher buddies

o make sure freshers know about events

o check-in each week for attendance

· Fresher of the week

SUPPORTING COMMITTEE:

· Social Secs – creating a step-by-step AGM guide (I organised Halfway Dinner so can help!:))

· Captains – monthly catch-ups
