The Frieren Guarantee : We will get Mexit done within this academic year and unleash the potential of our Society.

Why Mexit now?

This has been a long time coming, since the establishment of a separate melon band server, a growing divide has festered between Melon Band and ICAS.

The success of recent summer and winter lives has proven beyond doubt that Melon Band is more than capable of standing on its own. It is time to acknowledge this reality and embrace the next step forward.

How should I feel as a Melon Band member?

Melon Band members should be thrilled by this opportunity. As an independent group, you will no longer be limited by the rigid structure of ICAS; tied to three, termly lives. Instead, you will be free to expand, take on external performances, and welcome more members into their ranks.

You would be granted with the organisational freedom to manage their own finances, organize their own events, and even secure their own inventory space. With their own committee at the helm, they will have full control over their direction, ensuring that every decision is made in their best interest.

Who am I?

The most suitable candidate to undertake this daunting task. My extensive experience with CSPs combined with my role as a committee member and my familiarity with ICAS's inner workings, has given me the knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of CSP leadership.

Vote Timothy – For a Stronger ICAS and a Free Melon Band!
